NSV - I won a bake off with an SF pie!

My company hosts an annual chili cook off and this year added a bake off to it. I wanted to make a dessert I knew I could try without fear, which was my main reason for submitting.

I made a no sugar added apple pie with granny smiths and honey crisps. I added just a bit of splenda to my no sugar added apple juice concentrate base. Since the apples are already sweet enough, those that are prone to dumping will want to take it easy. Also, the crust of course isn't going to be the highlight of your day, but when we cut this 9" pie into about 12 pieces since it was a bake off, it was nominal.

Here are pictures of the pie and m
y trophy! Recipe is  below if you want to try it out yourself.

Double crust for 9-inch pie
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1⁄4 teaspoon salt
1 can (6 ounces) frozen apple juice, thawed
5 to 6 Jonathan apples, peeled and sliced
2 tablespoons butter

Heat oven to 450°F. Place bottom crust in pie plate; set aside.

In medium saucepan, heat flour, cinnamon and salt. Gradually stir in apple juice and bring to a boil. Add apples and stir thoroughly to coat with thickened juice. Pour into pie shell and dot with butter. Add top crust and seal.

Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350, and continue baking for an additional 30 to 35 minutes, or until apples are tender and crust is golden brown.
