stall----staying off the scale.
It's been a while since i have been on this forum. So after the first miserable 3 weeks post op(even with the weight loss) I am happy but i am at a stand still --- i keep going back and forth 236-237. Yes 40 pounds down but i want to loss another 30 now!! I am trying to be patient.. but since i was so miserable in the beginning --- i deserve it...I am happy to have some drive and motivation-- and i know that i can step it up a little too, especially with protein shakes....also a new pair of jeans would be nice----jk... i've losst weight in my face and legs--- but this damn stomach (not as bloated) is still massive...if you have any suggestions or tips please share-----

Of course you want the weight off NOW. Unfortunately, there is not a form of WLS what gets it all off immediately. Right now, you'll be better off staying off the scale and keeping track of progress in other ways. Like, how far can you walk now without getting tired or out of breath? Is it easier to bend over to put your shoes on yet? How about shaving your legs? Do you have more energy? Fit in chairs with arms better?
Focus on the good things that are happening and stay off the scale for a while.
