lets talk fruit
The reason they put in the slush puppie machine with the juice is because the kids were sneaking off to the corner store at lunch for the sugar filled slurpies. Even though both are packed full of sugar I think the juice may be a bit better choice and it keeps them from sneaking off. I have read the concentrate bottle and the first ingredient is apple juice and the 2nd is white grape. The product is called Slush Puppie Plus. I'm still hoping to get the full nutrtional content. http://www.slushpuppiecanada.com/en/faq http://www.slushpuppiecanada.com/en/products/slush-puppie-pl us/

It is trial and error.
I have issue with some fruits, some - not so much. But eating too much fruit would raise the carbohydrate intake for me for the day. Too much carbohydrates and my appetite is off the charts the same day or the next day...
Some that made me sick were the fruits that had low fiber, and high glycemic load - index.: banana, grapes, peaches, oranges, and few others.
But I am fine with grapefruits, pineapple, mangoes,. I love berries and can eat them as much as I want to. (must be the fiber in them).
You will never know - unless you try. And just beacause one day you could eat them - it does not mean that they will always agree with you. The next day - they may bother you.
But - skins - still give me a lot of trouble. I have to peel my apples.

I don't dump on a regular basis but fruit can be a trigger for me. It's all just trial and error and small amounts. Canned fruit, even in juice, is too much for me. Apples vary by variety and size. I can eat a Macintosh but not a Golden Delicious unless it is really small. I can eat dried prunes without incident. Berries in any quantity are glorious and I can eat oranges and pomegranates, even with the membranes.
Try little bits and see how it goes and good luck to you~
