i think i am in love...
OK soooo i can't seem to like greek yogurt but have been trying different things...jelly in it...nope, SF torani syrups..nope....fresh fruit/splenda...nope...but tonight i finally finally decide to try the FAGE mixed with cheesecake SF jello pudding, with some graham crackers i crushed up & added a bit of splenda and a bit of butter to and toasted up a few minutes then topped it with some sugar free cherry pie filling. OMG it was sooooo good. thanks Kelly and whoever else gave me this recipe. I finally finally found something i can add to greek yogurt and eat. And it was soooo good.
Yummy, huh? Lately I've been eating it with some pureed pumpkin in it. Like pumpkin cheesecake. I'm actually eating some right this minute.
And when I was mixing it up, my cat kept trying to stick her nose in there. She likes my Greek yogurt (with anything I happen to mx in it). But I kept pushing her away from the yogurt, and then she started to lick the pumpkin puree off the lid to the can. What kind of cat likes pumpkin? I tell you, she's weird!

My German Shepherd loves pumpkin. He has been on a special diet for the last year because he has allergies so bad. He has a special soy dog food we get from our vet and he can have green beans, carrots, or peas with this and as his snacks is pumpkin. He can no longer have dog bones or treats, but he loves that pumpkin we are glad he does!
Do you mix anything else with it beyond the pumpkin puree? I am going to be three weeks post-op when Thanksgiving hits and it's my first non-US Thanksgiving. I would like SOMETHING that feels like tradition. I will have to roast the pumpkin and puree it myself, but it will be worth it.
Oh and my cat likes watermelon more than tuna.

Pink!
Yeah. I use a 16-ounce container of Greek yogurt, about 1/2 cup pumpkin puree, 1/2 a package of sugar free cheesecake flavored pudding mix, and a little splenda. I mix it all together, then serve it with Cool Whip free and a sprinkle of nutmeg and cinnamon.

That sounds so dreamy.
Ok, I don't want to come across as a bubble burster, but I do want to warn you to make sure that treat stays on the right side of the nutrient "tracks." Depending on how much yogurt to "other stuff" can carry what WAS a good protein treat into carbyville very fast.
But so long as that's all thought of, it sounds to me like you've found something you love!
