I had my RNY May 19th of this year, everything was going great! I'm almost to goal, feeling great, starting a running program, and then BAM! pain in my right upper abdomen, vomiting when I ate, etc. Ultrasound showed a gallbladder full of stones and a dilated common bile duct. Had laproscopic gallbladder removal on Wednesday, came home Friday. However, it was felt that I had retained stones in common bile duct so now i have a drain and a bile bag. It will need to be in for a minimum of 6 weeks. No working, no running, no lifting no nothing. Has anyone else had this problem? Any encouraging thoughts? Thanks

I've never heard of this, but I had some issues a month or so ago, so it is good to know.

You must be going crazy with no working, no running, no lifting, no nothing.....
