Stalled
Ok. So I haven't lost anything in the last 10 days at least. I know it is partly because I am not eating enough and not really exercising. Part of the problem is that it is cold now and I have no desire to go walking outside. Joining a gym for me now is hard because I am not working since I am just taking a break from school. The gym I want to join has classes that I know I can definitely take and enjoy but it is a bit expensive. They do offer a student discount but I would have to wait and register at my local community college. But even with that, the membership is still kind of pricey. I can go register on Wednesday for a class just to get the discount but I am curious to know what others did before joining gyms. I am 3 weeks out today and have another 88lbs to go.
hey girl... you are only 3 weeks out. I hit the same "stall" at the same time as you!
It's not really a "stall" unless its NO weight loss for WEEKS and WEEKS on end...
Right now, (as it was explained to me)...your body is still going through the healing process.
Your body is also going "HOLY ****what's going on here?!" since you are losing weight, and all those fat cells that are packed with estrogen... that's enough to screw with us!!!
Trust me, don't let this discourage you. Seriously. Believe me when I say... the scale WILL move again in about a week.... STAY OFF THE SCALE for at least a week or 2.
=)

hey Kaila! Thanks so much. Definitely very comforting to hear that. I am definitely trying to stay off the scale until my next appointment. You know now that you bring up the estrogen, I have experience a lot of acne breakouts since having the surgery and having to come off my birth control. Makes a lot of sense why I have these breakouts now! Thanks again!!!
Thanks for the posts ladies. I think that is what I am going to do until I can get the gym membership. I went walking yesterday with my friend at the park. The weather was nice and chatting the whole way definitely helped. We also went on the swings and OH MY! do out tushes hurt. What a great workout for the thigh and buttocks!
