CHANGING PCP

I finished all my requirements for surgery on Oct. 27th. I called the surgeon office to inform them that I completed the requirements. So I called my PCP office to make sure they sent off everything and they stated they did, then I get a email stating from the wls office stating they need my referral. Fast track, the PCP office dont want to send the referral.

I'm at the point to were I'm going to another doctor and ask for a referral tomorrow cause its been hard doing all the requirements to get surgery to be stuck in one place.

I'd suggest that you find out why they are refusing to send the referral.  If it is not a good reason, tell
them you want your medical records RIGHT NOW, and go find another PCP.

You're the consumer, they are the provider.  Take your business elsewhere.
