The day has come ...

Ive been trying to get the Gastric Bypass for 3 years now. I got denied by my insurance company 2 times in the past 2 years. 6 months ago i decided to give it one more shot and today i got the phone call that I was finally APPROVED!!!!! This has been such a long journey and it is far from over but I feel like I finally have a doctors office and surgeon that are on my side. I have a few things i now have to do for pre op but should everything should be complete by November 23rd and my surgery will be scheduled after that. Just wanted to share because I'm SO EXCITED!

Congrats!!  I know the frustration you've felt.  I too have been waiting for 2 years and my surgery is finally scheduled for 11/17. Good luck to you!!
