My last weigh-in is on December 6th. Really, really hoping I can have mine before the end of the year. All blood work, tests, and whatever are all done thankfully. Just me against the clock! The bariatric office is aware of my goal and they are trying to help it happen.

Count me in as one of the holiday crowd!  :)   I was able to choose my date and I particularly wanted to do it early Thanksgivng week.   I wanted to have it over an done before the holidays so I wouldn't have to deal with wanting to pig out on holiday goodies.  It would have been sheer torture to do the 2 week thing when my co-workers fill the office with candy, chips, etc. in the weeks leading up to Christmas.   Like everyone else I am looking forward to starting the new year with a new outlook, new bypass, and less butt!

I had surgery Wednesday and I am not really concerned about the holidays at all. I am having a hard time getting my liquefied stuff down. I can't imagine holiday favorites! lol
Pretty pretty please, don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f*ckin' perfect.

Sweden!  I have been to Sweden!  That is a beautiful place with beautiful people.  They do love their candy and ice cream there!  LOL I remember there were stores everywhere goodies and glass (spelled wrong I am sure, using the American spelling! LOL)

Get in your protein, it is important.  It helps with WL, big time!  I fought the protein for many months, and I lost lots of hair and slowed my WL down.  I am back on the protein now and my hair is coming back and the WL is turned up again.  I am almost to goal.  Go get the protein in!

I'm heading to the OR on November 16. I can't believe it's here already! I'm on day 10 of my pre-op liquid diet. It's been fine. It's weird, but I don't feel hungry at all!!!!!!! I thought I'd be starving, but I actually have a hard time remembering to drink my protein shakes...go figure. I've worked hard to get to this point and I hope that you guys will pull me through when I hit bumps along the way. Thanks OH for all of your support. Best wishes to all the other pre-ops.

I am scheduled for this Tuesday, Nov 15th and I was kind of bummed about doing it before Thanksgiving and Christmas because of missing out on all of the yummy food of the holidays, but then I stopped myself because I realized that that type of thinking was what got me here in the first place.  I'm SUPER nervous about the procedure and all of the pre-op stuff the day of, but I am so looking forward to being happier and healthier.  So push aside the egg nog and stuffing and let's lift our protein shakes to cheers for good health (and smaller dress sizes!) in the new year!

Mine is 12/12.  I start my preop diet the Monday after Thanksgiving.  I'm right now in the mindset of saying goodbye to food.  I want to have my last few favorites before the surgery.
