I think I failed my psych eval. She said two weeks until I hear anything? Is that right? She said she saw no red flags, but would need to talk to her supervisor about my history. And talk to my psychiatrist. Now I'm freaking out. Anyone been through this?

The psychiatrist that did my eval also had to talk to my psychiatrist.  I was also worried about it after I left, but it was about 2 weeks later that they sent it to the surgeon's office and I passed!

Mine even brought up a few things to me that I thought would make me fail, so I would think if she told you she saw no red flags, you should be ok.

I would assume they do that just so they can get a better picture of you from someone that has been seeing you longer than one visit.

Good luck!

Mine took forever...she said 2 weeks but then she got sick, then she had her baby...no one told me anything, lol. Don't overanalyze your appointment with her, you'll possibly cause yourself some unnecessary stress. Good luck.

Don't worry about it - things take time, like getting a hold of a psychiatrist and writing a report. Be patient, it all works out.

I didnt pass mine.  She told me that she wanted me to see a therapist for depression, just to make sure that I could take care of myself after surgery.  I saw the therapist for 2 months and she agreed my depression wouldnt hinder me from taking care of myself after surgery.  All of this was done before my 6 month waiting period was up, so it was no big deal.  I still see the therapist trying to work on my depression.
