I have my date!

I just got back from the consult with my surgeon.  It was much longer then they told me it would be, which was fine but my poor husband lol.  Anyway, it was over an hour and she is very through. 

I do have to have a scope done because I used to have an issue with heartburn and she wants to make sure there is no damage, but it didn't delay the surgery date, so that was good news.  Still have to go in for preop testing, etc, but not for a few weeks.

I'm also down another almost 3 pounds, which was very exciting!  She also told me that she was very surprised that my BMI was so high, that she would have pegged it 7 points less.  I guess that's a compliment lol.

anyway, I also got my new samples for protein powder from about time, so I will try one of those tonight.

haha, i was so excited I forgot to post that part. silly me.

It's 12/22. If all goes well i'll be released on christmas eve. I am very excited that it will be done before christmas!

How exciting!!!  What a great Christmas present to yourself!!

Mine's 11 days after my 40th birthday so I'm saying this is my birthday present to myself!

So many of us seem to be having our surgery in December!  I hope we don't overload the surgeons!
