protein... lol
Cottage cheese, string cheese or sliced cheese, ricotta cheese (with some spaghetti sauce and shredded parmesan cheese on top, tastes like lasagna but no noodles), regular yogurt instead of Greek (add a little protein powder to it), roasted chickpeas (currently my favorite snack), beans of any kind, veggie burgers, eggs (however you like them fixed). Or make protein ice cream instead of protein shakes.

You can find lots of yummy recipes at theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com, but it is basically a frozen shake. You mix the shake, then pour it in an ice cream maker. Protein ice cream was a life saver for me in the beginning.

Protein ice cream saved my sanity in my early post-op days. God bless Eggface!
