Just this morning my DH said that I look like a different person.  I heard him tell someone else that I'm beginning to look like the girl he married.  It isn't daily but I know he likes the change.  I'm happy that your son is more open, maybe he is more sensitive to your feelings.  I'd sure praise him for making you feel good.  Congrats in losing 100 lbs.

First, ask him about it. Talk to him about your feelings. If he didn't compliment
you a lot before, he's not going to compliment you a lot now. Some men just
don't do a lot of that. My partner didn't ever say a word about my weight. Not one.
In over 20 years he has never said a negative thing about me.
He also is not big on compliments.  Fast forward to now....pretty much the same
except after we had a conversation, he can be found on occasion to tell me that
I look really nice or that he likes some outfit I have on etc.  Some guys just
need a nudge.  They're not mind-readers and they really do come from another
planet that doesn't resemble ours (kidding!), so talk to your husband and tell
him what you'd like from him.  Good luck and great job!

Well he was never really big on compliments I guess.I know my weight bothered him but he never really complained about it out loud. It's just hurtful I guess, but I will deal with it and not let it stop me from losing.I did ask him why and he said he does acknowledge it,but he doesn't only when I ask him.
