Im a post-op
Yup! All done. My belly is way sore and I had bad nausea last night from the pain meds because I had no food in me. But now Im drinking Isopure RTD, Italian ice and Jello, So I dont get the nausea anymore.
Its really hard to get from a laying position to a sitting position. But I do it and Ive been on 1 walk in the halls so far.
The staff is great! My Dr (surgeon) came to see me before my surgery and today. The plan is to send me home tomorrow. I hope they do.. Its getting real boring here and I miss my Tempurpedic bed. Its gonna be a real ***** getting out of that bed, I just know it.

I have a ton of rubes and wires hooked to me
1.oxygen
2.IV for hydration and pain med (the buton I can press)
3.Catheter (I can't wait to get this thing out.
4. On Q pain buster
5. EKG monitors with a BIG box. I think its called telemetry?? (spelling)?

I am glad u r doing good. I had mine on 12/5/2011. It was so good to get out of the hospital. It was real hard finding a way to sleep when I got home but I finally figured i out. I was able to sleep on my back with alot of pillows propped under me or on my right side. Good luck and feel free to write if u need someone to talk to
