You should consider getting a Forever Lazy or Snuggie.  They have truly been life savers for me.  So what that my husband and son call me the pink easter bunny..  it is getting the job done!

Hehe, I know how you feel Liz, and I hate to say it, but even being almost 4 months out, I'm still freezing. I keep making jokes that I lost my blubber that insulated me. I was also one who would drink a frozen coke icee in the middle of winter. LOL

Night times are the worst, I got to bed warm, but wake up at 1 or 2am and I just cannot get warm again.

I bought myself a microwavable rice bag so I can always nuke it wherever I am at, and keep myself warm. =)

Have Santa bring you a heated mattress pad. It is the best gift ever. It should be part of everyone's post-op  survival gear.

I was an ice cube before.  Now I am an entire tray of ice!  Sitting behind my desk with my wool winter coat right now and I am still cold.

The only time I ever sweat anymore is if I am having a hot flash!! I am always bundled up and I live in the south. I roast most people out! Fortunately, I hate sweating so this has been a plus!

Thanks for all the responses :] I took my temp to be sure I was'nt running a fever and its 98.9. My Mom says thats enough to give me the chills. I see the nurse tomorrow and will tell her. I had to take an hr ride to and from my daughters dr today after my stop and shop trip and quick lap around the yard. Im sore and tired. Im having a cup of boulion chicken broth with my pain meds catching up on my food journal and resting. Keep warm my friends!

I'm 3 weeks out yesterday and have been freezing since we got home from the hospital!  My husband thinks it's hilarious, as I used to be the bed warmer!

I think cold is just a part of our life now.  I made a much needed purchase of a heated blanket and it is a life saver and I sleep so much better.  I learned to layer.  Cuddle duds are my friend (top and bottoms).  I use to wear shorts during the winter around the house and now it is long sleep pants, long sleeve shirt, and a blanket is normally close by.  At work, space heater :-D.

Someone mentioned we are not eating enough to warm up our bodies...I just wish I could lose this last 15 lbs I keep thinking I am eating too much and that is why I am stuck.  Then again, I can not break being a candyaholic, damn black licorice

From major Sweat-er to major SWEATERS

I'm nearly 6 months out now, and I was always a big ball of sweat before, but now that I'm down over 100 pounds I'm cold, COLD, COLD!  I have a space heater at work and I crank up the heat in my apartment- it's worth the cost.  :-)

Good luck staying warm this winter!  Think cozy thoughts!
