My repeat post, I hope it helps somebody
I haven't repeated this post lately. I hope it will help somebody!! It is my mantra and I live by it every day.
IT'S JUST A TOOL!!!
The way I describe RNY is that it is a tool. You can own a hammer (the tool), but the hammer won't build you a house. You have to use the hammer and put in a lot of work to build the house (losing the weight). THEN, as all you homeowners know, you have to maintain that house. It is a lifetime of maintenance. If you let something go for too long, it is a bigger job to fix later. You have to pay the mortgage (eat right), pay the taxes (take your vitamins), mow the lawn (exercise) and all of the other responsibilities of home ownership. You have to take care of the tool.....
