What do you post-op folk take for a sore throat???
What about a cold? I wanna keep it safe. Any advice?

Any cold mediciine without NSAIDS. Like Tylenol cold medicine. If you take liquid meds, jus****ch out for the sugar - some have lots of sugar.

For a sore throat, I like the cepacol maximum strength lozenges. The green ones that coat your throat, they are available in sugar free. I have to get them at a drug store though. Never seen them at walmart.

I've found some sugar free cough drops. Oh and in the hospital I had a sore throat for 3 days, and they prescribed me a spray which I still have and will hold onto. Ask your Dr if there is something he can prescribe/recomend.
