Thats what it feels like...

So twice this has happened to me in the last week...both times with chicken and both times i was really hungry..lol
So i came home tonight after running to the store and popped my Knorr roaster chicken breasts into the oven.  By the time they were done (30 minutes later) and my brocolli was done i was so hungry.  So i probably ate to fast but suddenly, i get this overwhelming feeling like i am super duper full and then i realized i feel like i am FULL of air.  I can taste the bile and saliva gathering in my mouth and i feel like i want to puke but have no naseousness.  Even though i did not get sick, i burp and burp and burp until i feel better.  I am guessing i ate to fast and this is what happens.  lol...
Soooo my lesson for the week....do not get so hungry you eat to fast and cause these things to happen...slow down, relax and enjoy your meal.

Hope your all having a Happy New Year!!!

When that happens to me and I feel particularly ill, I lay on my left side and stay still and quiet.  That usually helps.  Throwing up, as much as I HATE, HATE, HATE it always gives relief once it happens.  I don't have this problem too much at 26 months out, but I spent quite a few nights on my left side waiting for that feeling to pass when I was learning the process.

I did the same thing to myself SEVERAL times. I now eat a few bites of greek yogurt or no sugar added applesauce....just a few bites of SOMETHING while my meal is cooking to prevent me from doing that if I feel like I'm STARVING. I try to keep a veggie tray in the fridge and just munch a couple carrots. Taking that edge off makes me take my time with my food.
