unflavored protein powder
I use Pure protein from Bariaticeating.com. For me unflavored protein powder does have a taste and not truly unflavored. With the Pure it is the one I have found to be the closest to unflavored. To add it to my items (I don't sprinkle it) I use Nik's hot liquid method. It works just great and no clumps which was my issue with it before this. I do this method not only with hot drinks, but with soups, cold smoothies, etc. I just add a little (2oz of liquid) and make a paste, then add it to your items. Here is link to Nik's blog on it. http://bariatricfoodie.blogspot.com/2011/12/bf-basics-how-to -make-hot-protein-drink.html
How it is depends on the brand.
I would not just sprinkle it on something. I would stir it in good. Otherwise it's like eating some sand sprinkled on your food.

I make sugar free chocolate pudding with my unjury unflavored. Its pretty good and with 14g of protein per serving , I cant complain. There is a slight taste, but not too bad.

Optimum Nutrition has an unflavored protien powder. I really like it. You can mix it in coffee or soup as long as it is not to the boiling point. It says you can bake with it and use it for other types of cooking. I put it in my coffee everyday. It is called "Any Whey" by Optimum Nutrition. I buy it from amazon.com.
