one year check up post op
So I go, and get the talk... you're doing well. You look great. Sugar in remission (my primary said CURED). I'm now dealing with reactive hypoglycemia. Dr suggested not drinking so much milk, as it might be making that worse. SO I will do that.
I will choke down the vitamins (iron and calcium), but they put me on a new iron. Course my wonderful insurance company won't pay for it, and it's like 30$ a month. On top of the others. That's pricey for me. He has ordered B12 shots, and there is a chance I can do them from home, but won't know until I get the results of my labs. Depends on levels. 3 months ago they were great. That's pretty much the last time I took the b12. Fighting with my insurance company about the iron right now.
I got a referral for plastics, as it takes a while to get approvals. My penniculous is a source of frequent infections. So it's time. With my insurance my surgeon's office said if they approve it takes a year. So we're starting now. As far as they're concerned I have hit my goal weight. I'd love to lose a few more pounds (as shown by my signature).
I have to go back in a month for the results of my labs, unless they are bad. IF they're bad they'll call me in sooner.
Course I now have to stop at the lab again, as they screwed up my labs, when drawing them. Now I have to go back.
that sucks. Another needle, and another trip, out of my way btw.

you had your surgery a day before me! I struggle with taking iron too, but I never seem to get it where it needs to be, so I still take 2 Vitron C a day. Hopefully everything else will stay within the normal range.
I am having plastic surgery on Friday! tummy tuck, BL/BA, lipo on my thighs. I am happy with my weight loss. If I lose more, that's fine, but I am good with where I am.....PS....my insurance wouldn't cover anything, so I hope you are lucky enough to get it covered.
Good luck to you!

Good luck Friday.
My insurance will pay for the penni removal. It will pay for the extra skin removal for some abdominal walls. Because I have had twins, and another pregnancy MY stomach is huge still, but what's worse Is I get awful rashes on my tummy, in the folds of skin. Well medicare pays for a reconstruction, not cosmetic surgery. So I won't be as pretty as you, but I won't have the wiggle jiggle that the extra skin on my tummy gives me. They've warned me it may take up to a year.
