Reaching out for help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A lot of times your nerves are cut during surgery and you may not be getting your "I'm full" or "I'm hungry" signals yet.
What guidelines did your surgeon give you for eating after surgery? For example mine said no more than 1/4 cup of mushy foods at a time. My full signal didn't work either so I measure everything. Try measuring out your portions.

At 7 days out I was eating teaspoons of food, why are you trying the eat 1/2 CUP of anything? I'm 8 months out and can just now eat 1/2 cup of food.
Dont ru**** you are only gonna make yourself miserable.
Eat smaller meals more often in the day and you will be fine.

That is what is freaking me out. Today I had one scrambled egg, 1 protein shake with ice cubes and 200 ml of muscle milk and a s.f. popsicle. Granted that is nothing in the sceme of things, but I thought I would not be able to tolerate food for a lot longer than this. You need at least 60 grams of protein and 64 ounces of water in a day.
Your nerves have been cut so maybe you aren't feeling the full sensation. You are going to have to be aware of other signs like maybe a burp, hiccup or a runny nose etc.
You need to be very careful right now and measure the food you eat and stick to it, strictly.
