Can you go back to the basics? Measure AND write down everything you consume. Increase the exercise and be consistent with it. And if you have issues that are causing you to eat don't be afraid to seek professional help. Good luck,

Follow your doctor's plan...to a "T."

I was a lightweight when I had surgery.  As a result, on my last pre op appointment, I asked my doctor what size my pouch/bypass would be.  Because of my BMI he said my pouch would be larger and bypass not as significant.  That thought had me petrified.  He told me to follow the plan and oo my part, and I would be okay.  When I left his office, I was sorry I asked the question...kind of what I did not know would not have hurt me...ignorance is bliss sort of thing.

So I had to really push myself.  If I stalled I could not allow myself to think..."Ya know your pouch is bigger than others, etc."  I shared this to tell you go by your plan, not by  what your pouch or head is telling you.

Measure, eat accordingly, exercise,  hydrate, and you will be fine...advice I too need to follow.

Please remember at 7 days out you are healing on the inside. For the first 14 days my surgeon had me eating NO more than 2 tablespoons of food at a time! You really need to be careful. Not only are your incisions healing but your pouch is probably still swollen so be very careful with portions. You really cannot go by "how you feel" or if you are "full". Your nerves have been cut and you won't regain that sensation until perhaps month 3-4.
