Hate Protein Powder

I had trouble finding one that I liked too. I finally found a ready to drink protein shake - Total Lean Swiss Chocolate from GNC. Doesn't smell or anything (in my opinion) and I am very very picky. It has 25 g of protein.

I was told not to worry about protein til your first post op visit HOWEVER let me say this, I do not think this was good advice BECAUSE I got it in my head it wasn't a big deal and IT IS A HUGE DEAL. I now am losing hair out the wazoo, feel like I look like a cancer patient and need wigs to cover scalp-show and I don't think it would be near this bad if I'd been compliant w/ protein intake 60g per day and multi-vites. So, I'd like to encourage you to get on the protein now, and stay on it.

I tried a lot of protein and found one I love.  It's champion nutrition pure whey chocolate, and at 10 months out it's still the only type I drink.

I also drink it in a cup w a lid and straw like someone else suggested....that definitely helps me.

Good luck  :-)

I use Isopure's Chocolate Protein powder (GNC and Amazon) because it is tasty but more importantly, it has 50grams protein per serving. I drink it alone or I mix it with the High Protein Chocolate Ensure for a whopping 75grams. Yum!
