Nothing sounds good

I know I need to eat and I'm doing my best, but honestly, nothing sounds good. I have had jello, broth and cottage cheese so far today and the cottage cheese tasted really nasty. This pureed food stage is tough!

You can have cottage cheese already?  I hope I can have that soon.  I had my surgery on Monday and I'm really craving something more solid.  I'm on liquids right now.  Protein shakes, popsicles, apple sauce w/meds, yogart and broth are it.  I really want something pureed - cottage cheese sounds so good to me right now.

I found that I can't have anything hot.  Hot broth and hot tea were hurting a lot.  So I drink it cold, lol.  Wonder if that's happened to anyone else?

You can puree practically anything.  How about pureed chili?  Or refried beans with taco sauce and shredded cheddar?  Or ricotta cheese with spaghetti sauce and grated parmesan?

Sounds great--the ricotta cheese anyway. Not a fan of beans.  :)  I'm going to try and make some gazpacho today, but I have gotten a cold so it makes things even more difficult.
