Dehydration
I don't feel good.
I'm feeling really weak, tired, out of breath, dry and nauseated.
I went most of the day without urinating, and only just now went a very small amount.
Could I be dehydrated? Should I call my primary care office or my surgeon's office? Should I wait until morning to see what my output is?
What would you do?

If I were you, I'd call the surgeon's office.
Have you been getting your required fluids? Have you had too much sodium?

I'm not puking, but I am having a hard time drinking water. I wan****er, I'm thirsty, but it hurts to drink it. My mouth is just so dry, blech!
I think I'm going to take some zofran, try having a couple popsicles and going to bed. I'll see what my output is like in the morning and call the surgeon's office if it's not good.

If you haven't peed all day, you are more dehdrated than you want to believe. Get to the ER for fluids if you cannot drink them. You should not rely on feeling thirsty to gauge dehydration. Your kidneys could be in a lot of trouble by morning...renal failure can happen from severe dehydration. I know I'm probably scaring you, but PLEASE don't put this off until the morning.

Jen are your feeling better? Hope all is OK? I had trouble drinking at first, eat popsicles, I even sucked.on an ice cube. Anything helps.
