Hello,  I had my rny surgery on june 8th 2011 . It's been a journey needless to say  , but a wonderful one  i feel great !!!!! but haven't lost but a pound or so here and there for about 4 weeks or more . Seeing as this is is going on my9th month anniversary  , i am wondering if this is the famous stall period i have heard so much about .  I continue to take my vitamins, watch fluids ,a nd try my best to hit protien goals . Protein goal seems to be the biggest challenge for me. As my pouch isn't coperating much in that area ., it seems to be senstitive to alot of things .  I am not discouraged as that I am very happy with the 94 lbs i have lost and how good i feel everyday to not be lugging aroung the extra weight . Couriousity has me wondering if there is more i should be doing at this point or if I should just continue my normal routine and more weight will come off eventually , I am currently 5'3 and about 160 - 163 depending on the day  lol  thanks for any advise   and thank you all for being there when i needed advise !!!!!

First off congrats on the 94 lb loss.  As you get closer to a normal weight the scale creeps for many.  If you continue to do what you need to do, you should see the scale move some more, even if it's slowly it's not going up (if it does, water weight comes off again).

Those last 20 +/- lbs seem to come off super slow.

I stalled for a good little bit right around that time.  Take a look at your habits - have you let something slide?  Are carbs or extra calories sneaking in?  Is there anything you can revamp?

What about exercise?  More, less, the same?
