OT: headed to ER (and scared)

I am pre-op and also have been on a blood thinner for over a decade.... Same thing happened to me two years ago, wicked nose bleeds and high INR. I freaked out... Thankfully it ended up being just a busted blood vessel in my nose from winter dryness. It had to be cotterized... Ew! I very much hope it is as simple as that for you.
