It's a Smelly World

Wow, there are a lot of unappetizing smells out there. Smells I used to like or at least easily ignore. Food smells, drink smells, other people's BREATH smells, all kinds of smells that just make me hold my breath until I can get away. I think smells travel for miles just to find my nose and make me gag.
My daughter says I have a nose like a truffle pig--I think she's right! I've always had a sensitive nose, but man, this is ridonkulous!

My daughter says I have a nose like a truffle pig--I think she's right! I've always had a sensitive nose, but man, this is ridonkulous! Wow, it's funny you should mention this because I've been experiencing the same thing. Some people, and places are so stinky now. One nice thing I discovered is that good smells are strong now too. I was on a trip a few months ago, and stopped for coffee. When I went inside the smell of cinnamon rolls from the Cinnebon was phenomenal. The air so thick with that delicious scent that I didn't need to take a single bite. My nose let me thoroughly enjoy the experience. I was driving through the same area again a few weeks ago and stopped in for a sniff, but unfortunately for me they were closed. I guess we have to take the good with the bad on this journey.
