My NSV a moment in the closet

I had my RNY surgery on june 8th 2011, i have lost 96 lbs or so to date . As many of you know this lots of clothing changes and bargain shopping,, lol .   I was standing in my room with a friend and she says " wow lynn you still so many clothes ,, why haven't gone through them and donated them yet ??? "  with out thinking I answered " well because you never know when i may need them again . "  an old response back from the days of all my yo- yo diets and failed attempts at losing weight and keeping it off .  she kindly stated " honey you have been the dark side and your such a better educated person now , and with tool you have blessed to be given , i really think it's time to give all these clothes away . "  i gave her a big and cried a good cry   the realized how right she was . I have been given a tool and much education these long 8 months ,, i finally said good bye to the 257 lb Lynn and said hello to the 160lb Lynn   ,,,, thank you god for this blessing   AMEN   i love the new me    she is wonderful !!!!!!!!

I guess it's a good thing that my closet is so small.  As soon as I had to buy smaller clothes I didn't have room for them so I had to go through my clothes and get rid of them to make room.  I gave them away on Craigslist.  That made me feel good that I could help out another person.  I also got a lot of clothes from people giving things away on Craigslist.
I did think about what would happen if I gained some weight because that has been my history up to this point but I just figure if worse came to worse I could just get more clothes at a thrift store.
Just don't buy too many at this point because you will probably go down several more sizes before you are done.
