B12
So can I really burn through B12 at that fast of a rate? I'm thinking of supplementing my shots with maybe a sublingual the week between. I typically feel like total crap hit days 12-16 depending on my schedule I am not always every 14 days exist.

There are weeks that I do 2 a week. When I feel that I am not really "OK". B12 is water soluble. So our body - at least some of us - just do not want to store it. Also - the shot are probably B12 as Cyanocobalmin. That form need to be convered to Methylcobalmin. Sometimes - the body doe snot do a very good conversoin.

Start weight: 335 Current weight: 185 Goal weight: Whatever the hell I can maintain without driving myself insane!
1) Better absorbtion - IM injections are reportedly to have the highest absorbtion rate. With as fast as I burn through the stuff I like to get as much bang for my buck!
2) Less hassle - A few things here. If you read my posts you know what kind of life I live and the hours I live up at 4am bed between 10-11pm With the amount of fluids I need to get in to keep the dehydration monster away along with protein, calcium and multivitamins it is simply one less thing I need to worry about on a daily basis.
3) Cheaper - Sublinguils being OTC I have to wait until I have met my deductible before I could think about expencing them off to my FSA account. My shots are by script and cost me right around a buck a month as opposed to how much per box?
4) It is more manly! Seriously getting stabbed with a needle willingly every month how much more macho can you get?
5) Payback! I let my wife give me my shots so it is her chance to get me back for being a dick and all the assholish comments I may have made in the days before my shot.

I figure SOME lesser-absorbed b12 is better than none at all, right?

Ideally we want our levels to be around 1200-1800 and can go up to 2000 or more, it is water soluable and we just pee out the excess. You went from 5000 per day to 2500 per day, that was a huge cut, you probably would have been better off doing 5000 - 5 days per day and you would have much better levels.
If you are doing the shots every 2 weeks and after 5 days you were down to 786, then you need to do them more often espeically if you feel like total crap by day 12. You should be waiting until you feel like crap to inject - they should be maintaining your energy level. Do you have enough to do them weekly for a month to see if that makes a difference? It can't hurt you, you just pee out the excess but it can only give you more energy. I give them to myself 3 times per week and have for 15 years. I started out doing this for chronic fatigue syndrome to give me extra energy but then ended up with B12 deficiency long before surgery.
