I use generic Centruim Silver by Walmart and I also take carbonyl iron, because it is less constipating. I have purchased those online from VitaLady or locally, made by Sundown.

I suggest taking them separately.  We can only absorb certain amounts of some vitamins and minerals at a time, and since we have to take several doses of calcium a day, it seems easy enough to just take one mult with one dose of calcium and the other multi with another dose of calcium.

my husband experimented and he swore he felt better spreading them out, so I vote for spreading them out!

Either Centrum or a generic equivalent.  You can compare the label of the store brand multi to Centrum and if it's the same, it's fine to use.

centrum silver chewables - they have everything in them - the tablets are missing selenium which we really need, the chewables have the selenium - the silver has no iron which is what we want, so you take a separate carbonyl iron with vitamin C supplement.  taken the multi 2 times per day - not together

Marilyn101,

Lots of us seem to take Centrium or Centrium Silver (no Iron) or the store generic for them.
I often shop specials at CVS, Rite Aid or Walgreens when they have buy one get one free.

I actually compared the CVS brand of the centrum silver chewables and they weren't the same - they were missing some things and the %'s werent' as good, so it isnt' wirth it to me to save a few dollars to get less vitamins - $11.79 for 2 months is cheap enough for me.  I think they are even cheaper at walmart but I dont' always get there
