I went and did all my pre-op stuff today at the surgeon and the hospital. My RNY is scheduled for 8am on 2/20. What a way to spend my valentines day. With my husband prepping for my new life!! I'm so excited. I have to be on pureed foods for 4 weeks, then I can introduce soft foods. Anyone have any recipes they are willing to share?
Thanks

Won't be long now!

I don't know if you'd call them recipes, but the first thing I had when I was allowed to have pureed was ricotta cheese with some shredded cheddar/jack, a bit of spaghetti sauce, warmed up and melted.  Yum.  Also refried beans with a bit of taco sauce and shredded cheddar/jack, again, warmed up - then a dab of light sour cream on top.  I also like plain Greek yogurt (Yoplait makes a 2x protein that's good), add in 1/2 scoop of Isopure Zero carb protein powder and some SF FF chocolate or cheesecake Jello pudding powder.   I got a can of Hormel 98% FF turkey chili and used an immersion blender to puree it up.  It tasted good, but there's a lot of sodium, so I don't eat that too much.  Of course there's the scrambled eggs or Eggbeaters - I  would cook them in the frying pan add a little cheese, then put them through the Magic Bullet with a bit of sour cream to soften them up a bit.
