THIS RNY Thangy is really starting to work!

I am starting to see my body changing, some clothes are starting to fit looser, and most of all people are starting to notice! I guess by me being so tall, it is so easy to notice my weight loss. I was at my moms, and she sees me at least once or twice a week, and she says, "Tasha you are coming down really nice child!!" I was so happy to hear that, and my husband's aunt who I saw on Monday and has not seen me since the week after my surgery, said "OMG Donna you are slipping away to nothing!" My Hairdresser who has been doing my hair for 14yrs, and I see her every 2weeks, said "Girl I can see it you are looking good, don't get to cute and make me have to smack your but!" lol! I love this chic she is so fly, and I mean she puts the wings on flying! lmao! Oh and of course the hubby who sees me in ways that nobody else does always says" baby you are looking so good, I can wrap my arms around you, and hit spots that I could never hit! He goes on to say I love seeing your body transform right in front of my eyes!" Not only am I looking good, but I am feeling great too, my energy is excellent, I am exercising and enjoying it! My food is going down good, and I am taking my vitamins good too! I have a cold right now but it still is not holding me down! At this point I don't think anything can hold me down! Loving my RNY!!

Congratulations....  i know that must feel good to hear what others are seeing...  and i think the most important part that i hear from your post is that you feel good with increased energy....  Feeling good is what i'm looking forward to. 

My liquid diet starts 2/21 and my surgery is 2/28.....  and i am ready to feel good too.  ;)

Hey sunnygurl, you are so right! I think as women we can get our heads so wrapped up into how we look, that we sometimes will push the health part of this journey to the back!! That is why when I posted this I made sure that I put in the part of how my health was! I read on this forum a couple of weeks ago, from a Veteran named Paul, and he said that we get so caught up on how we are going to look, and the main thing we should be concentrating on is our health, and he is absolutely right, but us as women we still got to look fly!! So why not be healthy and fly!! lol Good luck with your upcoming surgery, I am praying for you to have a speedy recovery!!

Oh i'm there with you....  feeling and looking 'Hot' is truly part of the plan...  i will not deny that....  I really like to read about the health part....  because this surgery is not a joke...  it is a major operation and changes our bodies in ways that are amazing.  Besides what's Hot or Fly without feeling great....  i would not want to look good, but feel like crap....  I am praying for a package deal!  I want both...  ;)

 Way to go Donna, I know how exciting things are for you. It starts with a slimming of the face, then my boobs went away. LOL. Then I had to wear a belt, then I started taking my pants in so they would fit better. I went to the primary doctor yesterday, he was so excited for me. I will be three months post op next week and have went from a size 24 / 26 to 18. I got to shop on the skinny side of the store last week. So get ready sweetie, the excitement will only get better for you.

HEY PAMB8S you are right the booobs....yupp they are goners!! My face is nice and slim, and I was in a 24 pants, and now I am in a loose 22, hoping that I can fit the 20's in my closet let me try them on now!! Congrast to you too, shopping on the skinny side of the store is a wonderful NSV! Thanks I am looking forward to more excitement I can not wait!!
