ok, i have had several ask for photos of the pizza chips,,sorry, i just never thought to take any...hubby has been asking for them so that is what was for dinner tongith...so, here is how tonights chips came to life...
turkey pepperoni, reg pepperoni, beef crumbles, italian sausage crumbles, scallions all chopped up pretty small...add cheese, parm, mexican 4 cheese blend, mozz cheese, i added garlic powder, oreagno, italian seasoning, maybe about 1 teaspoon of each...stirred it all up and then sprayed parchment paper on cookie sheet, placed globs of cheese mixture onto paper, melt in 350-375 oven, we like ours a little crispy around the edges, i used 2 sheets as i wanted to keep them going, you have to let them cool just a bit so you can slide them or pick them up..hubby likes his dunked in pizzza sauce...
sorry i dont measure, i just kind of guessetimate...mine made about 10-12 chips tonight..i have them in a baggie in fridge, they are even good cold...just zap in micro for a few secs to warm up the next day..not sure how long they will last in fridege, they dont last long, i have never froze them as they dont last long enough...
anyhow enjoy, let me know how yours turn out...pizza with out crust...

i am sure they are not the greated for us, as far as sodium with the crumbles, but for the pizza cravings, they work and kill that craving quite nicely...they are home made so i know whats in them...and no crust...one day i may try some ham and pineapple in them..that is my favorite pizza ever...i feel pretty good when hubby askes me to make a bypass friendly meal...
please let me know how yours turn out...take your own pictures even...we can have a pizza chip war...sounds good to me

They look yummy! One of the things I really missed was pizza. Though I can have it, bread does not go down. So, when hubby wants a pizza I get 1/2 with veggies and get extra dipping sauce. I can eat the top part of about 1-1/2 slices. Plenty of protein!

I have been dying to make these but can't find the Hormel Beef or Italian Sausage crumbles anywhere. Do you have the weight of these so I might find a substitution?

Thanks!

you can use a tube of the italian sausage and reg hamb or ground turky....you dont have to use the packages of those....i had found them at my local publix, had not seen them at my local wal mart...you dont even had to use any meat at all if you want to do a vegge one...what ever pizza toppings you like....its the garlic seasoning, oreagono, and italaian seasoning that give it the pizza flavor and of course the peperoni....use just what ever you have on hand...
keep me posted on how they turn out..go easy on the seasonings as one batch i got too much and it is very easy to get alot quickly....i may even make up some in a shaker bottle to have on hand...call it pizza seasoning...i would maybe suggest a pinch of each...i dont measure when i cook..sorry..
