Seeing my surgeon tomorrow feeling a lot less pain today.  The allergic reaction to the dermabond is still horrible!  Now I just am struggling to get in my protein and water today. I hope tomorrow is better. The nausea is just so draining.

My 11yr old son came home from school and took a look at me and said "I guess God did not answer my prayer for you last night.". I felt so bad for him feeling bad for me.  Since I have been home he just keeps saying " mom, I didn't think it would be this bad. "

As I said yesterday this surgery is kicking my butt!

Christine,
I felt lousy the first three weeks, so hang in there!

If I am not drinking enough fluids I get nauseaus. Good luck,

Explain to your son that it takes the body time to heal, but that you will heal and feel better soon. Drink all the water that you can. I still get a lil naseaus if I don't drink enough fluids.

I had surgery on a Tuesday, and I was not  good at all for at least 2 + weeks. The first week was plagued with nausea and gas pains and overall discomfort. By week 3 I was feeling pretty darn good, but just weak.  You'll be fine based on the symptoms you described.
