Dayquil

Are we allowed to take this?   I feel like I have a golf ball in my throat and I'm getting runny/stuffy sinusy headache and head feels heavy. 

I was told by the nurse at my surgeon's office that I was allowed to take medicine as long as it did not contain ibuprofin.

Yes, Dayquil is safe to take...
