Quest bars

With everyone giving them such great reviews, I broke down and order a sample box. They are okay in a pinch, but nothing like I thought they would be. I always have one in my purse for emergency purposes only. I don't think I would ever order them again.

I LOVE me some Quest bars. I liked all the ones I tried but I've not tried a great many flavors. I like half warmed in the microwave just until soft. Yummmmmm.

 I really hated these bars. I bought 2 boxes thinking that I would love them because they are very popular on these boards. Well I ended up with 2 boxes of bars that i loathed. Thankfully the manufacturer gave me my money back. They sat in my gut like a brick. They remind me of clay, and I didn't find them tastey. But to each his own. I would recommend buying the individuals before purchasing the case. 

That's how I feel about the pure protein, supreme and oh yeah bars - all those sugar alcohols!  I tried them because of the rave reviews on here and suffice to say, I will not be buying them again.  

And the body fortress too - I bought a tub because of the fantastic reviews and wanted to vomit when I opened the tub and again when I tried to drink it.

So yes, use caution when buying things that others rave about - fortuntately all of the above items were available single serving size (except the protein) and it wasn't a big deal.

Quest bars I love only because they are one of the only bars I know of that are stevia sweetened.
