I have date

Well, I finally have a date 04-11-12 for my surgery.  I have been trying to get approval for the past seven years.  Last year we had a change in insurance and I signed up for the Turning Point Program.  My six months of monitoring was up last Tuesday when my documentation was sumbitted to the insurance.  I heard last Friday that I was approved.  Thanks to the SOBC, they have been great folks to work with.

Congrats, I am super excited for you.  It will be worth the 7 years that is for sure.

Woo Hoo!!! My surgeon is shooting for an April date. But I am afraid the insurance company may have other plans. But I am doing all the pre ops (cardiac clearance, final lab work, etc) in anticipation. Good luck and keep us posted!!
