I have been doing alot of reading on this forum (which is awesome awesome!) about different protein drinks, vitamins required, protein bars, etc.

Now where does everyone buy these from? PLEASE!

That depends on what kind you want to buy.

For protein drinks, you can get a bunch of different samples at vitalady.com, and I suggest doing that.  That way you don't waste a bunch of money on a big tub of something only to find you don't like it.

I buy my multi and calcium citrate tablets and Meijer.  I get vitamin C and Sundown Perfect Iron there, too.

I buy Calcet creamy bites (calcium citrate) from Celebrate (celebratevitamins.com) and caramel calcium citrate chews from Bariatric Advantage (bariatricadvantage.com).

I order my Upcal D (powdered calcium citrate) from Colonial Medical.

I get my D3, vitamin A, zinc and magnesium oxide from vitalady.com.

I have also ordered iron, C and a few other things from drugstore.com and iherb.com, when they've had good deals.

I get my B12 shots from Kroger pharamacy (with a prescription from my PCP).

why do you buy Ca citrate tabs from Meijer and then more in bites form?

Doesn't your multi include enough A, Mg+, C?? My doc recommends SL B12. What do you think about that?
Thanks!

I buy the calcium citrate tablets because they are cheap.  but I like the chewy bites.  They are yummy.  But expensive.  So I use them sometimes and use the tablets and Upcal D the rest of the time.

My multi contains 70% of the RDA of vitamin A, and it really should be 100%.  Plus, some of it comes from beta carotene, which we really don't absorb well.  I added additional vitamin A when my labs showed my A level was dropping.

I take the magnesium oxide to prevent constipation.

And yeah, my multi has 100% of the RDA of C in it, but I take extra C with my iron to aid in the absorption of the iron.

Sublingual B12 is fine.  I just didn't like them.  Made me feel nauseous.  I like the injections better.

I buy shakes at trader joes target and costco.  I bought my multi and calcium at Costco (their brand). All of my other vitamins were from a health food store.

Most I buy at the drug store.  BOGO free sales are wonderful.  I need higher dosage of D3.  The only place I have found dry D3 is from vitalady.com.  She is a WLS patient as well,  so I buy from her.

I buy almost everything, including protein powder, from Amazon.  I have Amazon Prime, so delivery is free.

A few things I get from Target (like their brand of Citrical Petites.)

Multi  Vitamins and iron from Celebrate- they have different formulas for the various surgery types.
Calcium- who ever has the best deal- often Target, but Walgreens frequently has BOGO, so I stock up then.  Same for Vit D, B complex and sublingual B 12.
