NSV So Excited!!
You know those clothes that you cant wear because you are too big for them & you stack them up in your closet or in a drawer, because "when you lose weight" you have them & don't have to buy new clothes. Well, last night I decided to pull mine out & guess what. I can wear them all, but one of the dresses I really liked was actually too big for me. I was so excited & bubbly & my husband thought I was nuts. I'm just so happy I had to share. Yay! Go me!
That is wonderful. I am waiting to feel that same excitement. i had my surgery exactly a month after you and am still pretty bloated and have not lost as much as I had thought. I know it is a long process and we didn't get like this over night, but I can't wait to start feeling better and being able to wear some of those clothes that have been in my closet and not being worn. Good for you!

I had clothes that I have had for 10-20 years (I know, I'm forever the optimist OR just nuts!), that I can now wear. I have a gorgeous swimsuit from the skinny 1970's that I want to fit into again. I don't care if I ever wear it to swim, I just want to fit into it again! That's my goal! So, be excited and love every second of it! You go, Girl!

I was the same way, I had clothes that were from 20 years ago. I just kept moving them from place to place thinking some day I would fit into them again. Well, I'm a little over 6 mo out and I've been through all those clothes (the ones that weren't so out of style I wouldn't even wear them) and now down to a size 8!!! I don't remember EVER being a size 8! Goodwill is my fav store now-I go about every 2-3 weeks so I'll have something to wear to work!
Congrats and keep up the good work!

I'm going through that now. I still have some clothes to wear that I've held on since my smallest weight. My larger closes pile is getting bigger. Yippee! I'm waiting to buy more on clearance, at Goodwill and thrift stores.
