Hello everyone!
I really need to get serious about my health before I gain any MORE weight... :O(  I do have some protein shakes that have 40 grams of protein and I drink those for breakfast a couple of times a week when I need to get out of the house fast.

However I need some ideas on things to eat for breakfast and lunch that has a very high protein content since I need 100 grams a day...and only 50 grams of carbohydrates.

I'm not a good cook and don't like to do it so I've run out of high protein ideas.  :O)

Thanks everyone!!  :O)

Some of the things I have found that taste good and are easy to make for lunch are 1) 1/4 cup egg beaters, 1oz of lunch meat ham and 1oz of fat free cheese OR
1 container of plain greek yougurt with 1/4 cup of granola and some slenda to sweeten. Those are my 2 favorite things to eat for breakfast.

Greek yogurt is my go to protein source, but only Chobani and Fage unsweetened. Then I add SF syrup to flavor it.

Why only 50g of carbs? I am maintaining and I eat over 100g a day (with about 30g of those being fiber).

What protein shakes do you use?  I am dying trying to choke down these nasty Unjury shakes.  I can't make myself swallow it.

Actually I found these shakes at my local groceries store...lol  EAS Myoplex original.  They have 42g of protein and only 20g of carbs and 2g of sugar.

I eat a Pure Protein bar every morning for breakfast. It's about 20 grams of protein. It's quick and easy. I eat it on my way to the train in the morning.
For lunch or snack I eat plain greek yogurt - Fage or Chobani. Sometimes I add 1/2 c granola and or some honey. I've tried sugar free preserves in the past. It was good, but I'm sick of it now.

I too find it hard to find food high in protein that I actually WANT to eat. I look forward to reading what others post here. I'm always looking for new ideas!
