9 lbs Gone First Week Post Op

Just returned from my first post op visit with my surgeon where he told me I've lost 9 lbs since surgery. Don't know how close to average that is but I'm satisfied with it! Especially after being told at my weight loss support group weigh in last night that I'd only lost 3.5 lbs by their scale. I think I like the surgeons scale much better!

 You should go by the doctors anyway; that was the scale you started with anyway. LOL....Good for you! SO happy for you.....I am so worried that I won't lose the pre-surgery weight and KEEP it off. The place I am getting my surgery has no liquid diet thing....you lose the weight; then they schedule surgery; if you GAIN; they cancel the surgery!!!! 

We don't have scales at the Support group that I go to. Wouldn't they all LOVE you if you told them they all actually have lost 5.5 pounds MORE than their scales show....LOL
