I just weighed myself. Just got home from hospital and I weighed the same thing I have weighed for like the last week and a half! What is going on? I figured I would've lost so much more! Very discouraged.

Not sure; sinceI haven't had my surgery.....The weight will come off; just make sure you are drinking and doing the protein. Seems they work in the healing process. I wish you the very best.

Did you just have surgery? If so you are lucky if you weigh the same as IV fluids normally pack on the pounds. I had 1.5 bags of fluids Monday night and I'm still getting off the last .5 lb that they made me gain. It will come off don't worry!

Don't feel bad. I am 3 weeks out and I am stuck at 18 lbs. I am having some eating issues that I am not so sure about. trying to figure them out, since I am on soft solids now some are not agreeing with me. Feel hungry eat and then get pains. Hopefull I will get it all figured out soon. And hopefully we can get the scale to moving again....good luck to you!!!!

You just got home?  I came home 28 pds heavier from the IV.  It doesn't happen overnight.  You soon will see the scale move.

The scale is not your friend! I would suggest not getting on it for a while because with the IVs in the hospital and everything else they do to us during surgery you are lucky you are not showing a gain as so many do.

The weight will begin to come off. Just give it a few days. Your body has just gone through major surgery and has to figure out what's going on.

Good luck!

Fluids and your abdominal cavity being pumped full of CO2 will do that. Try not to be anxious. You WILL lose weight.
