Before your surgery did you

 I am still wondering too. It's hard to be optimistic when you have never been considered small or thin. I do not have a picture or ideal to refer to. I no it has to work. For goodness sake my guts are being rerouted.

 Yes. Actually everyday. I have Hypothyroidism. And every day I think, watch this, I will have this surgery and maybe loose 30 lbs and be right back where I started in a year.  
Keep your faith, and keep positive. Talking to my surgeron helped too. He was very positive for me.

Nice to know that im not the only one that thinks about this. I have been skinny before over 12yrs ago. But now im so scared that im going to do all this and im not going to lose weight...Everyone thinks im crazy....but I think its just a natural thing for you to think that. I mean its a BIG change,and the fact that you are doing it raises questions

Same with buying a house or car...at least for me anyways..I always have remorse for little things LOL......

I dont think there is a person out there that had RNY and didnt lose weight....is what my husband says :)
