Stitch pain

 I am 5 day post op. And even though before I left my surgeon said It looked if I'm healing good. But.. my go**** feels like my stitches ( inside, the ones that desolve) are going to streatch and pop open. I have to hold the bottom of my belly up.. just to walk.  Any thoughts? 

 I am 14 days post op and still dealing with those stupid stitches! My dr warned us about this pain and said it was very common but I'm bummed its still bothering me two weeks later! I have read that often times people just wake up one day and the pain is gone. I'm hoping that day is soon for us!

I am with you on the pain. I am 5 days out. Today it was worse than before. My doc said it can happen as the body tries to heal.  I hold my gut when I stand to try to minimize thepain.

Also, try using a pillow and hold against your body when getting up or sitting down, it has helped the pain.  Let's see how long it last, but I hope it goes away.
