Anyone's sex life NOT improve after surgery?

You would think me being minus 85lbs would make my husband want to have sex all the time.  Nope. Ever since surgery, he is avoiding anything sexual with me and it is starting to make me feel weird.  I have tried to talk to him about it.  It chuckles and brushes it off.  I am starting to wonder if he liked me fat better!

Not yet.  I still have another 80 or so to lose so there is still some fat there.

 Is your husband overweight?

If so, it could be a case of "Well, when we were both fat, I wasn't so self conscious."  But if he's heavier than you, it could be him feeling less attractive and more worried about HIS flaws than yours.

Ahh, nevermind, I read more replies after I posted.

I don't know, that's interesting. And definitely worth a heart to heart chat that he can't just brush aside like a joke.

I do not.  I have saggy boobs but that's it.

My breasts are quite deflated. My hubbie doesn't touch my boobs like he used to. I feel somewhat sad (it's my loss also) but I don't blame him they are pancakes. He loves my thin waste and my ribs and is always hugging me!

I'm having plastics in Dec. and and I bet he won't be able to keep his hands off of them!

Maybe he's afraid he'll hurt you. People think smaller = fragile. OR maybe he's self conscious about himself. You never know.

He and I have been together since we were 17 (I am 38) - he definitely knows I am not fragile. LOL!  He has always been very thin so I don't know what he would have to be self concious about unless he thinks he doesn't have the moves for a skinny girl (but I was skinny when I snagged him)! LOL
