I'm thinking ahead to dinner for the family but haven't got as far as my own lunch.  Tonight is Nik's barbecue Mahi Mahi substitued with Talapia.

I bought a sandwhich, turkey and cheese....a half sub last night for dinner.  I ate the turkey, cheese and tomoates out of the 2nd quarter of the 1/2 sub for lunch...I still have 2 more meals to go on this sandwhich

I got a ginormous "guilt free" salad from the hospital cafeteria and relished in eating every bite. I load up my salads with free foods and a bit of protein and chomp down. I am a volume eater, always have been, so I pick foods that give me the volume I want with virtually no calories. LOL.

 sauteed some vidalia onion and added cannelini beans.   yummy!

1/3 cup refried beans nuked with salsa (the smooth kind, which I wouldn't have deigned to eat before rny!) and maybe half a cheese stick melted on top.

But first...breakfast: strong decaf with milk, protein powder, and English Toffee Torani.

I don't know why I was worried about "never being able to eat again." Life is good!

 Trader Joe's Chopped Italian Style Salad with chicken, salami and Dijon Parmasean Vinaigrette.
It's delicious but too much. I'll be eating the rest for dinner.
