Can I be 100% honest here? No judging

I did it for my voice. GERD was ruining my voice. That my mother was dying of colon cancer (an obesty linked disease) was the impetus to look into the surgery, but that it could cure the GERD was what made it important enough for me.

 I understand completely how you feel. I too want to be healthy for my children. I have 7 of them that I want to watch grow up. I want to feel attractive to me and my husband, not for anyone else. I want to be the very best me possible. Thank you again.
