Severe sharp pains under my left rib.
Ok, so for the past four hours or so I've had these really intense sharp pains under my left rib & radiates to my back & then I get a sharp pain right above my belly button. The pain comes & goes, when it happens, when I breathe it hurts. I was wondering if maybe it's gas or possibly some worse. Any suggestions as to what this might be? Anyone else experience this? I am 11 weeks out & have had no pain up until now. I have had my gallbladder, appendix removed years ago & have had a right hemacolectomy due to a tumor found on my appendix which was attached to my colon.

I'd call my dr in your case because it hurts when breathing. I know gas causes a lot of strange pains but it is better to be safe than sorry.

let us all know what you find out. I've been having pains since 2009 and the only answers I got at first were gas, and then last summer they said constipation. Who knows really. I know your not as far out as me, but I would like to hear what you find out.
