What kind of protein Shake/bar are you using?

I'm using About Time unflavored and Peanut Butter Chocolate. The PB/C is my fav so far. I do Atkins PB crunch protein bars when I'm in a rush or need a "candy bar" craving. I'd love to try the Quest bars. I hear those are REALLY good.

I have been eating the Atkins bars too and I just ordered the sample pack or Quest. I'll let you know how it goes! They were a little pricey but I can't stand the Atkins every day because they are to sweet and they list of ingredients is so long and mostly chemicals.

I use quest protein bars or the simply bar (vegan variety).
I make a green smoothie protein shake every morning using almond milk, spinach, strawberries and vega one protein powder.

I don't have time to cook in the morning so I drink my shake on the way to work.

Me and protein bars don't mix
I buy the ready to drink Pure Protein shakes. They have strawberry, cookies and cream, banana cream, vanilla and chocolate and they all are really good.
35g of protein for 12oz, and tastes good!

Breakfast on the go is usually Click (vanilla flavor only with skim and ice in a blender - if you like 'bux, you will LOVE this!) Or I like Strawberry Amplify Smoothie...my shakes have to be in a blender with ice to be a meal replacement for me (except the below example)

I did use 100% Whole Gains mango this morning in my blender bottle during my workout for the first time. this stuff is YUMMY and kept me full till after 12 (and i'm right at 4 years out, too). I could only imagine it in a blender with some ice - total mango smoothie I tell ya.

Bars - Quest is good with the fiber, Supreme Protein, Oh Yeah wafers in the freezer, PowerCrunch.

Be happy.

For me protein shakes and bars don't really hold me.
I can cook an egg in about 3 minutes.
Greek yogurt mixed with fruit..you can make those up ahead of time and eat them in the car (if you are sitting in traffic!)
The easiest is to grab a couple of cheese sticks and some roast beef deli meat.
If I don't start the day with protein I set myself up for blood sugar crashes and have to chase it all day.
This week I've been eating tuna fish salad for breakfast.

I hate breakfast too.  It just doesn't seem to sit right.... so coffee, coffee, coffee until about 10... then a Power Crunch wafer bar (always the PB creme flavor).  I didn't like the texture of quest at all - very dense & chewy.  Power crunch are light & crispy.

I was a regular breakfast eater pre-op, don't know why it bothers me now.  I blame it on my vits.

I use the Jay Robb protein powder. I also use the think thin peanut butter protein bars. I wish I could use Click. I was so excited to try it but something about it just never agreed with me.

I can't do the mocha at all -- it hates me and I'm not a fan of it either...now, I'm on autoship from Amazon with the vanilla latte! : )

Be happy.
